About me
Welcome to my tech site, a
multi-platform site including software for Palm OS & Windows. If you've
arrived here looking for Mobile Inventions the site is now incorporated
into LoftCat.org.uk The new site is a sort of umbrella site encompassing
all the machines I'm interested in.
I began writing games and utils for
the Amstrad CPC and Acorn Electron in the late '80s up until moving across the
the Amiga in the early '90s. I also studied computing at university and released
several games and education programs into the Amiga public domain when I had
some spare time. Several of my Amstrad and Spectrum games were sold by homebrew
distributors The Guild and The Adventure Workshop, and my Amiga release Top of
the League made the 17-Bit top ten chart. Since then I've been working in the IT
industry. In the last few years I've programmed some Palm OS titles in my spare
time as well as learning more about MS Visual Studio on the Windows platforms.
My re-write and conversion of Top of the League for Palm OS received a
favourable write-up in UK high street publication PDA Essentials as well as
appearing on the cover CD several times between 2004 and 2005. It also made the
top 5 PDA Sports Games on PDA 247 in October 2007.
All programs on LoftCat.org.uk are
now freeware - I retain the copyright but you are free to distribute as you
wish. Where I've supplied the source code please feel free to make use of this.
